The residential version of the West KY RECC PowerShift Program utilizes member-owned whole home backup generators to provide grid support and demand response initiatives. Participants will receive $5/kW of offset demand (coincident with the “on-peak” West KY RECC system peak), in the form of a monthly bill credit. In addition, West KY RECC will provide an annual rebate of $100 with proof of completed generator maintenance by a manufacturer-certified service technician.

DID YOU KNOW…you can now purchase a new whole home backup generator through West KY RECC? We now offer generator sales to verified West KY RECC members on qualified Generac generators. West KY RECC members can now purchase generators 10% below MSRP. Members are responsible for installation. Financing not available at this time. Generator must be paid for in full at the time of order.
