Tree trimming and removal is an important maintenance program conducted by West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative. Trees interfering with power lines are a major source of line loss and outages. We are constantly removing and trimming trees that are either very near to interfering or already interfering with WKRECC lines.
Every year, heavy snow and ice cause tree limbs to break and fall on our lines causing outages. Sometimes these outages are widespread and take a considerable amount of time to repair. It is important that trees be removed or trimmed back from power lines properly. If you have trees on your property that are either near or touching the co-op's lines, please complete the form below. WKRECC will only trim or remove trees that are on the primary side of the meter.
Trees around the service drop (from the transformer to your home) are the member's responsibility. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the trees, complete the form below.
After you submit your request, someone will inspect the site. By submitting the form below, you agree to have West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative perform tree trimming services for the address/account listed.
